Congratulations to Carolyn and Dave! Here is a look at their fall-themed wedding cake. This was my first big cake with a buttercream finish (no fondant!), so the smoothing took some time, but I think it turned out well. Dark chocolate cake, white chocolate mousse filling, white chocolate buttercream frosting. Gumpaste leaves.
For her 90th birthday, her family wanted to celebrate the thing that was most important to her – her family. Her granddaughter contacted me to make a cake that captured this theme, so I thought a family tree would be a classic way to do that!
